Our Mission

The Community College of Aurora Testing Center administers placement, online distance education, credit for prior learning and certification tests to students, the community, and the military and their families. Test administration is done in a professional, positive and distraction-free environment in order to promote academic success and career advancement. We subscribe to the NCTA standards and guidelines.

Testing Center Acceptable Forms of Identification


  • The Testing Center is open one Saturday a month (the 2nd Saturday of each month). 
  • ALL Placement testing (CCPT or ESL LOEP) will require an appointment.
  • The following DSST exams are no longer available: Business Law II, Intro. to the Modern Middle East, Physical Geology, Principles of Financial Accounting, and Western Europe Since 1945

CCPT - Placement test - all new CCA students need CCPT results in order to place into college level courses. 

LOEP (ESL Test) - Placement test - all new ESL students need LOEP results in order to place into ESL courses.

Remote Proctoring Request - If you are a student that needs to have your placement test for CCA proctored at another school

Score Release Request - If you need your placement results sent to another school

Proctoring Services for Non-CCA Students - Standardized proctoring services for Non-CCA Online/Distance Education students

CLEP/DSST- Tests that award college credit for prior learning

HOBET/TEAS - Secondary assessment for Paramedic and EMT students

CASTLE WORLDWIDE - Licensing and certification exams

PearsonVUE - Licensing and certification exams

Accessibility Services - For students that require testing accommodations
