CLEP and DSST Testing

Exams for College Credit

CLEP and DSST exams are nationally recognized, standardized exams available to students who would like to earn college credit for prior learning experience. Contact your college/university to check if CLEP and DSST credits are accepted before registering.

Cost 

$89 CLEP Ticket Registration + $25 CCA Non-refundable Proctoring Fee = Total Fee $114  


Time Limit 

All exams, except for the College Composition exam, has a time limit of 90 minutes. The College Composition exam has a time limit of 120 minutes. 


Test Results 

Results are available immediately after completion of the exam, except for College Composition scores. Essays are scored twice a month by CollegeBoard and results will be emailed within 2-3 weeks.  Scores are automatically sent to the university or college, that you previously selected.


Retest 

Candidates must wait at least 90-days between attempts.

Requirements for Testing

CCA and Non-CCA students may schedule a DSST appointment, by contacting the Testing Center at Testing@CCAurora.edu or (303) 360-4948. 


Cost 

$100 DSST Test Fee + $25 CCA Non-refundable Proctoring Fee = Total Fee $125

*The DSST fee can only be paid with a credit/debit card at the time of testing    


Time Limit 

All exams have a time limit of 120 minutes. 


Test Results

DSST results are available at the end of the exam. Scores are automatically sent to the university or college, that you previously selected. Scores are available for printing by accessing your DSST account.  


Retest 

Candidates must wait at least 30-days between attempts.
