Emergency Preparedness and Response Training
An unexpected event such as natural disaster, fire, or workplace violence can have a devastating impact on a business, public institution or community. Today’s environment requires corporations, first responders, public planners and military personnel to plan and prepare for a wider, more complex array of threat scenarios. The Disaster Management Institute at CCA offers the expertise and facilities to support risk assessment, continuity planning and preparation, and threat and response planning for businesses, public entities and emergency personnel at all levels.
Skill Advance – Job Training Grants for Companies
The Skill Advance program offers state-funded customized training reimbursement grants for companies and non-profit organizations. Funding is available to upskill existing workers or train new employees to address company-specific skill requirements. Your business or organization defines the training needs for the application, and may use in-house trainers or external vendors for the targeted skills training. CCA will facilitate the application process, including providing guidance on developing a competitive application and detailed budget, and administers awarded funds and assists with reporting requirements.
