On behalf of the amazing students, faculty, and staff of the Community College of Aurora, I would like to welcome you to our college website. Inspired by our institutional vision, CCA aspires to be the college where every student succeeds. Whether your academic pathway leads you to the workforce or a four-year institution, CCA offers 55 associate and 45 certificate programs to support your dreams and aspirations.
Founded in 1983, CCA is a part of the 13-institution Colorado Community College System (CCCS). The college plays a significant role in providing access to education and opportunity to Aurora and Denver residents, as well as to students from around the state. CCA served nearly 6,700 college students in academic year 2019-2020, as well as more than 5,500 concurrent enrollment students from Aurora Public Schools, Cherry Creek School District, and Denver Public Schools. Designated as a Minority-Serving Institution and as a Hispanic-Serving Institution, CCA is a community that is committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion through Inclusive Excellence - which inspires our faculty and staff to create an equitable and inclusive learning and working environment.
Historically known as the college without walls, CCA channels the spirit of our college’s formation nearly 40 years ago by committing ourselves to dwelling as an institution free from all barriers to student success. At the Community College of Aurora, every student is VALUED, every student MATTER, and every student BELONGS.
Thank you for your interest in the Community College of Aurora and I hope to personally connect with you soon.
