Transfer Success Programs (TSP) were designed to assist students with academic, career, and transfer planning. TSP participants are assigned an advisor who will work with you as you navigate your way toward graduation from CCA and transfer to a four-year institution. TSP consists of the following programs: Traditional TSP, ASCENT (APS, DPS, and Cherry Creek), Brother2Brother, Colorado Challenge and the Red Fox College Access & Success Program.
Transfer Success Programs assist students in their pursuit of a four-year credential through exposure to opportunities that support their success at CCA; and assistance in making a successful transfer to a four-year institution.
The Community College of Aurora will be the premier community college in the Denver-metro area supporting student success and transfer to a four year-institution.
WELCOMING: friendly and inclusive
INDIVIDUALIZED: meet students where they are
EMPOWERING: advocate and support
PARTNERING: collaborative and trusting
EDUCATING: model, involve, engage
In addition to the advising provided through the TSP program, TSP also leads several campus-wide transfer programming efforts which include, 4-year University Campus Visits, TRANSFERmation (provides admitted students with an in-depth half-day session with our top transfer institutions), One-on-One 4-year university representative pre-transfer advising, 4-year representative tabling and the Transfer Fairs.
Space is limited in the TSP program and we encourage you to apply as soon as possible. Once your application has been submitted, you will be contacted with further details. Transfer Success Program participants graduate and transfer at higher rates than CCA's general student body. If you feel like you would benefit from one-on-one support, consider joining the Transfer Success Program!
Contact us for questions about Transfer Success Programs! If you are a current TSP participant, remember that communication with your advisor is key to your success. We want to hear from you!
