Colorado Film School at CCA Produces Documentary with Rocky Mountain PBS

A documentary produced by the Colorado Film School (CFS) at CCA, in conjunction with Rocky Mountain PBS, premiered at the National Governors Association meeting on July 15 in Providence, Rhode Island.

In summer 2016, CFS was asked by the Colorado Film Commissioner to work with the NGA to produce the documentary titled Governors Get It Done. Ten students were flown to Des Moines, Iowa, where they interviewed 14 governors for the project. The film was edited at the film school by former student and current instructor Matt Baxter, who culled more than 25 hours of footage into an hour-long film to be aired in the future on Rocky Mountain PBS and on PBS stations nationally.

Take a look at a behind the scenes view of the CFS team’s visit to Des Moines in 2016.
