CCA adjunct a big winner
NAHB bestows national honor
Jerry Costanzo, an adjunct in the college’s Marketing and Business departments, has been named the 2013 Sales and Marketing Educator of the Year by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
At CCA, Costanzo teaches Business 115: Introduction to Business, and Marketing 216: Principles of Marketing.
Costanzo’s experience outside of the classroom lies in his own Castle Rock-based company, G.L. Costanzo & Associates, which provides market analysis, sales training and marketing support to builders and developers. Costanzo previously served as director of marketing and sales for U.S. Home/Lennar and vice president of training for K. Hovnanian.
“New home sales and marketing is constantly evolving, but Jerry is committed to staying on top of emerging trends and has helped NAHB’s designations remain relevant,” said Erik Anderson, chair of the NAHB Education Committee.
Costanzo and other leading industry professionals were recognized Feb. 3 at a Designation Achievement Reception at the 2014 International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas.
