Feb. 17 Transition Fair open for students with disabilities and their families
The Arapahoe County Interagency Transition Team Fair, to be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 17, is designed to provide information to students with disabilities and their families to assist in planning for the future.
The event will be held in the Student Centre Rotunda at the Community College of Aurora, 16000 E. CentreTech Pkwy., Aurora, CO 80011.
Information booths will be available from the following sectors:
* Colleges and post-secondary schools and disability services
* Adult community services
* Recreation services
* Mental health
* County health services
* Advocacy services
* Social Security
* Transportation
* Vocational rehabilitation
Additionally, public school transition services representatives will be on hand from Aurora Public Schools, Cherry Creek Public Schools, and Littleton Public Schools.
Spanish translation will be available from 6-7 p.m.
