Fulbright Scholar Jon Bendall will speak on the topic "Comparative Law Enforcement Practices and Street Gangs" on the Community College of Aurora's Lowry Campus at 6 p.m. on April 5. The presentation is free and open to the public.
Bendall, a police officer with the Norfolk Constabulatory in Norwich, England, is studying at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs and is working on a criminal justice doctorate on comparative street gangs. A Police Research Fellow at UCCS, Bendall will share insights into his research with members of the community and with CCA students.
Bendall has a master's degree in international police science from Portsmouth University and is studying for a doctorate in criminal justice studies, also with the University of Portsmouth.
