English as a Second Language (ESL) summer courses have started up this week at the Community College of Aurora, but it’s not too late to register!
The Aurora Language Center at CCA is offering a special late registration opportunity for prospective students at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, on the Lowry Campus, North Quad Building (#901), Room 105, 9202 E. Severn Place, Denver, CO 80230. Interested individuals are asked to go to the Center to take a placement test and register for the class. The test will take approximately two hours, and cash or check for $100 is due on registration day. The Center is located near East Severn Place and Alton Way, near 6th and Dayton.
Summer ESL non-credit classes at the Aurora Language Center began on June 6 and will end on July 30. Numerous levels of English instruction are available, from beginning to advanced, for adults 18 and older. All Community ESL students are eligible to participate in free computer classes in CCA’s Coors Instructional Studio.
Classes meet on Mondays and Wednesdays, or Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. or from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The $100 cost covers the 8-week session, and there is a 10% discount for the Saturday classes.
