Rose Community Foundation awarded CCA a $20,000 COVID-19 Crisis Equity grant in December.
CCA will distribute the funds to 20 to 40 students to help them cover housing, food, childcare, or healthcare expenses and continue their studies.
The grant funds will be used to support students who are ineligible for federal aid through the CARES Act, including undocumented students.
Since the pandemic began, Rose Community Foundation has awarded more than $11.6 million to various Denver metro-area organizations for COVID-19 support and relief.
Founded in 1995, Rose Community Foundation strives to advance inclusive, engaged, and equitable greater Denver communities through values-driven philanthropy. The Foundation envisions a thriving region strengthened by its diversity and generosity, and utilizes grantmaking, advocacy, donor engagement, and community leadership to advance this aspiration.
