Eduardo Calles

I started college in 2014 at Metropolitan State University of Denver but my mom suffered a heart attack while I was a freshman. I was planning to be a mechanical engineer; during high school, I received my General Service Technician certificate from Pickens Technical College with a 4.0 GPA during my senior year of high school. I was planning to go into the automotive industry but after my mom’s heart attack I decided to be closer to my mother and study psychology at CCA. One of the factors that motivated me to study psychology was at the time I didn’t really believe in help but when a situation like this happens, you want to be in the right state of mind so I asked for assistance. I decided that psychology would be the best fit for me to help others when they need help. It does not matter how stubborn you are or if you don’t believe in help from others, we will all need a helping hand one day.
