Kofi Noamesi

I grew up in Togo and moved to the United States in 2003 where I started working two jobs but I knew there must be more to the American dream. A supervisor at one of my jobs encouraged me to attend nursing school. I graduated from Emily Griffith Technical College in 2009 as a Licensed Practical Nurse. I served six years in the Colorado Army National Guard and I am forever grateful for the training and skill set I acquired from the military. After an honorable discharge, I decided to take pre-pharmacy coursework at CCA, with the intention of transferring to the University of Colorado Denver’s School of Pharmacy. After three semesters at CCA, my thirst for knowledge has grown. I have been very impressed with the diversity, camaraderie, and the professionalism at CCA. I am very thankful to my wife, Hellen, for supporting me in this challenging mission. I am forever grateful to instructors such as Jeff Paganini, Jacqueline Williams, Barbara Francis, Martha Jackson-Carter, and all the CCA faculty and staff for their guidance and mentorship.
