Learn English at CCA’s Community ESL Program

Learn English This Spring

The Community College of Aurora’s Community ESL program will help you learn the necessary English language skills for work and day-to-day life in the United States. We cover speaking, listening, reading, and writing, along with vocabulary and grammar. We will prepare you for real-life experiences such as filling out forms, reading labels, preparing for college, and finding jobs. CCA’s Community ESL program is a non-credit program.   

Classes begin on July 18 and end on September 24.

New Student Registration

You will:

  • Take a placement test
  • Register and pay for classes
  • Buy your textbooks ($38-$66)
  • Registration will take 2.5 hours

Times (Choose One):

  • Wednesday, July 6 - 5:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, July 7 - 5:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, July 9 - 9:30 a.m.
  • Monday, July 11 - 9:30 a.m.
  • Tuesday, July 12 - 9:30 a.m.

Returning Student Registration

In-Class Registration (for Spring 2022 students only- register in class)
Wednesday, June 15, Thursday, June 16, and Saturday, June 18

Office, Room 105 (for all returning students since June 2021)

  • Friday, June 17, 8:30-12:30
  • Monday through Thursday, June 20 - 23   – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Monday through Wednesday, June 27 - 29 – 9 am to 4 pm.
  • Thursday, June 30 – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday,  July 5 – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Program Cost

$210 for ESL Online and In-Person

$30 for Citizenship In-Person

$70 for 8 weeks of Conversation
