The World Languages Department at the Community College of Aurora is dedicated to the teaching of languages and cultures of the world.
Our goal as classroom instructors is to provide an exciting, invigorating, and motivating classroom experience. We do so using a communicative method that emphasizes a balance between practice and theory; including a heavy dose of conversational interaction in the target language. Most importantly, our classes are taught by highly qualified instructors whose primary love is teaching.
Students who complete coursework in our department not only uncover an entirely new world but also better position themselves to transfer to a four-year university and for future employment. Our job is to serve the community and we are here to do just that. Please get in touch with us if we can serve you in any way!
NOTE: Not all languages or courses are taught every semester. For current course offerings, please check the semester schedule or contact the Dept. of Languages and Humanities, Chair Ana Martin-Mejia (email@example.com).
