The Community College of Aurora TRIO Student Support Services-English as a Second Language program is a federally funded TRIO Program under the U.S. Department of Education. It is designed to assist students in graduating from college. Program participants must meet certain eligibility criteria set forth by the Department of Education. The TRIO SSS-ESL program serves a maximum of 140 eligible student each year. The number of students recruited each year is based on students graduating, transferring, or stopping out. Applications for the program are accepted on a rolling basis. If a seat in the program is available applications will be reviewed according to order received.
The Community College of Aurora’s TRIO Student Support Services-English as a Second Language program provides comprehensive academic support to selected first-generation, low-income college students and students with disabilities to foster individual achievements and overall successes.
