TRIO Student Support Services-English as a Second Language is located Virtually for you to access while we're all spending time off campus! We are available for appointments over the phone, email, video conferencing in WebEx or Zoom, and (for our current students) available in Desire 2 Learn (D2L). TRIO Student Support Services-English as a Second Language (SSS-ESL) is a program designed to help eligible students earn a certificate or associate's degree and transfer to a four-year university to earn a bachelor’s degree.
Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, TRIO SSS-ESL offers an array of services designed to make your college career a success. From an assigned TRIO SSS-ESL Advisor who is dedicated to your success to supplemental tutoring and success workshops, participation in TRIO will help you to make the most of your college education.
Research tells us that students who participate in TRIO SSS-ESL programs are more likely to find success in college. Space is limited to 140 participants.
The Community College of Aurora’s TRIO Student Support Services-English as a Second Language program provides comprehensive academic support to selected first-generation, low-income college students and students with disabilities to foster individual achievements and overall successes.
