Other Opportunities to Connect with CCA Students:
We are excited to begin bringing in-person events back to CCA and would love to partner with you to connect you with our students! You can do this by registering and connecting with us and posting any career opportunities, virtual workshops, and career fairs on Handshake.
Spotlight Tabling- we set you up in a well-populated part of the campus and you have full reign to draw students in to talk with you and tell them about the opportunities you have in your company and schedule interviews. (Think of it as an informal career fair featuring you!)
Contact us at 303-360-4929 to schedule a time. We offer spotlights Mondays through Thursdays from 10am-1pm. Spotlights come with a $60 set-up fee.
Career Fairs- CCA brings a different approach to Career Fairs. Our fairs provide employers the opportunity to connect with students who are most relevant to their industry. Rather than all-college career fairs. We focus on Pathway specific fairs to target students in the majors that align with the Career Pathway your organization falls under.
Panel/Employer Mixer Events- Serve on one of our employer panels or an employer mixer event! These events are specific to departments and majors that align with your hiring needs and allow you to provide a brief window into the work you do and how it may vary from similar employers as well as provide quick tips on how to be successful as students complete their coursework and graduate or transfer to a 4-year university. These events also include a mixer portion at the end of the formal portion of the event for you to talk one-on-one with students and answer their questions about your line of work.
Externships! (Site Visits/Tours/ Shadowing Opportunities)- Want to bring students into your space to talk about the work you do and give them a sneak-peek about what it means to work at your organization? Particularly with the next generation of students coming in- the ability for a student to envision themselves in a particular environment is critical to their career decision making process and could help you retain your employees longer by providing that little piece of extra time with students to help them see what a career with you could look like! Site visits are one of the top ways for students to get a taste of what you’re all about and for you to get to know the student before taking the next steps.
Event Sponsorship- Don't have a particular event in mind but interested in helping out other events we have going on such as Etiquette Dinners or Workshops? We are always looking for sponsors to come assist or donate to Career Services office to help us continue to provide excellent programs and resources to our students!
