We are committed to providing students with the support they need in order to reach their goals of graduating with their CCA degree and transferring to a 4-year institution to earn a bachelor's degree. We have three programs; the Transfer Success Program, TRiO Student Support Services, and TRiO SSS-ESL.
The Student Success Center's mission is to promote student success through dedicated support in an inclusive and authentic academic community.
We uphold our mission through a set of five values:
Welcoming: friendly and inclusive
Individualized: meet students where they are
Empowering: advocate and support
Partnering: collaborative and trusting
Educating: model, involve, engage
The Transfer Success Program (TSP) was created to ensure that students who transfer from CCA to another college succeed both during and throughout the process. The Transfer Success Program partners with ASCENT, Colorado Challange, Boundless Opportunity, Denver Scholarship Fund and Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative (COSI).
TRIO Student Support Services (TRIO SSS) is a U.S. Department of Education funded program designed to help eligible students make the most of their college education by earning a certificate or associate degree and transfer to a four-year school in order to earn a bachelor's degree.
TRIO Student Support Services-English as a Second Language (TRIO SSS-ESL) is a U.S Department of Education funded program designed to help eligible students make the most of their college education by earning a certificate or associate's degree and transfer to a four-year university to earn a bachelor’s degree.
B2B is a college success program for male students at CCA. The mission is to give male students a compass for success in life and tools to achieve their dream of a college degree and career success.
ASCENT allows students the opportunity to attend college full time the year following their senior year of high school. Students can earn credits towards a college degree or certificate with individual advising and college tuition paid by the school district.
The Red Fox Summer Bridge Program allows students to attend college the summer after their junior year of high school and continues through the completion of their associate's degree. Students will receive one on one academic advising and tools needed to achieve their dream of a college degree.
