Step 1: Search the Library Catalog
- Most results will be eBooks that you can read online using your S#.
- Click the "On Shelf at CCA" tab to see books that are available now.
- Use your S# to place holds for pickup at CentreTech or Lowry.
- View a short video on placing holds for pickup at The Spot on the Lowry Campus
- Signup to get library notifications by text
Step 2: Search the AspenCat Libraries
- Click "Place Hold"
- Enter your Library Card Number : 21278 + your S# (e.g. 21278S12345678)
- Password (PIN or Last Name): (this is the last 4 digits of your S#)
- Select the campus where you want the item delivered.
Step 2: Search the Aurora Public Library Catalog
- Requires an Aurora Public Library Card (available at Library Service Desk)
- Use your Aurora Public Library Card to request the item. How to Request an item
- The item will be delivered to The Locker
- You will receive a notification email
- You can scroll to the bottom of the page and click "See more results in Prospector" to see books available at other institutions.
Step 3: Search Prospector
- Prospector is a shared catalog of multiple Colorado Academic Libraries
- Requires an Aurora Public Library Card (available at Library Service Desk)
- Select “Alliance – Aurora Public Library” as your institution
- Select “Community College of Aurora” as your pickup location
- The item will be delivered to The Locker
- You will receive a notification email
Step 4: Search SWIFT ZPORTAL
- You can request items from virtually all libraries in Colorado
- Select libraries to search in Current Profile (e.g. Academic Libraries or All Libraries)
- Enter Search Terms
- Select "Get It" once you have found what you are looking for
- Enter your Library Card Number : 21278 + your S# (e.g. 21278S12345678)
- Enter the last 4 digits of your S# in the field (this is your PIN): Last Name (ALL CAPS) or PIN :
- Select Your Library : Community College of Aurora
- Click Login
- Click Request
- You will be notified by email when items are avaialable for pickup at The Library (CentreTech Campus)
- Signup to get library notifications by text
Step 5: Search WorldCat
- Use the items you find on WorldCat to place an Interlibrary Loan Request

- Available for pickup at the Library Service Desk
- You will receive a notification by email when the item arrives at The Library (CentreTech Campus)
- Signup to get library notifications by text
Step 1: Search the Library Catalog
- Select the eBook icon at the top of the search results.
- Click the "Access Online" button when you have found a book you would like to read.
- eBooks are available from 2 companies:
- EBSCO eBooks (CCA) are academic books. The Access Online button will open a new window. Enter Your S# to read them online or you can download them to an app.
- Cloud Library (mostly non-academic) books will open in a new window. You must download an app to use them.
EBSCO eBook collection
- Search over 200,000 academic eBooks.
- Use your browser to read ePubs and PDF files of books
Cloud Library collection
- Download the cloudLibrary App directly from the Apple App Store or Google Play or install the cloudLibrary App for Windows PC or Mac OSx
- Log into your Library: select U.S., Colorado, and AspenCat Union Catalog.
- Click Agree to terms and login with your 14 digit library card number and password.
- To login to Cloud Library, use 21278 followed by your S# for your library barcode (e.g. 21278S12345678)
- Use the last 4 digits of your S# for the password
- Browse and borrow!
Search Kanopy
Kanopy provides streaming access to over 30,000 documentaries, classic, and Indie films.
Search Films on Demand
Films on Demand provides 24/7 access to thousands of documentaries, educational films and news reels in a wide variety of disciplines. Most videos are close-captioned.
