SSC's Academic Support Center

Our academic support center staff focus on building a relationship with each student, ask students to take learning style assessments and work on building confidence in challenging subject matter to help students persist. Their goal is to prevent a student from having to complete a course and to build the confidence and skills necessary to complete a course successfully and move forward to the next level.

The TRIO Student Support Services programs offer tutoring for current TRIO students in the following subjects and areas: Mathematics, Writing, and Science.

College in Colorado is a great resource for college students. It provides instructional materials on understanding financial aid, financial aid calculators, scholarship search engines, and money management videos.

Federal Student Aid is an official office of the United States Department of Education. The new site provides students, parents, and families with information related to applying for aid, preparing for college, and loan management.
