Low to Zero Cost Textbooks - Open Educational Resources
Open Educational Resources
Open Educational Resources (OER) are teaching and learning materials that are free for students because they are in the public domain or licensed to be used and revised freely. They can be used by our faculty and instructors to provide quality education without the excessive cost of textbooks or proprietary course materials. CCA has marked classes that have zero textbook costs with the code ZTC and classes that require textbooks and/or materials that are in total less than $20 for the class as low cost textbooks with the code of LTC.
You can see that a course is a zero cost textbook course or low cost textbook course when looking in Navigate.
