What is TRIO Upward Bound?
The TRIO Upward Bound Program (UB) is a federally-funded college preparatory program for potential first-generation college and income-eligible students. UB participants receive one-on-one mentoring and support in developing academic plans and guidance towards meeting post-secondary enrollment goals. UB also establishes an environment for students to further cultivate their social, leadership, and other necessary skills to succeed in completing high school and post-secondary education.
